Orinda Concert Series: David Marino

David Marino is a multilingual jazz crooner from Montréal, best known for his appearance as a finalist on Canada’s hit TV-show The Voice, under the mentorship of famous French artist and songwriter Pierre Lapointe. He began singing and performing at only 6 years of age, and was instantly inspired by legends such as Sammy Davis Jr., Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, and Charles Aznavour, among others. As a proud advocate for mental health causes, he has organized multiple big band concerts, raising over $50,000 for mental health services at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal. In July of 2023, David Marino made his U.S. concert debut in New York City, receiving rave reviews and generating buzz within the music industry. David can’t wait to make his West Coast cabaret debut as part of the Live at the Orinda Concert Series! "Move over Michael Bublé, there's a new Canadian heartthrob...and that is one David Marino. David Marino is not to be missed!" - Theatre Pizzazz "David is a crazy natural, with an incredible talent. He belongs to the stage and the stage belongs to him." - Pierre Lapointe, The Voice "This young man, with stunning ease and a velvety voice, will be able to conquer the world of jazz." - La Semaine
